The Fair Board decided to return last year to use of Fair buttons for Grandstand admission, for many reasons, including that they stand up to wash racks and unplanned trips through washing machines. Also, once pinned on, you don't have to look through a purse to find them.
As in the past, Grandstand buttons provide admission to all grandstand events every day of the Fair; that is, this year five different events for the price of one. Buttons can be purchased during the Fair at the Fair Office under the Grandstand for $18, or prior to the Fair for $15 at locations around Winneshiek County from June 11 to July 6, and by mail to the Fair Office. Children age 6 and under always are admitted to the Grandstand shows free.
